Trade Fair Video AD Megatec
For AD Megatec, the largest Belgian producer of Schüco PVC windows, doors, and sliding doors, we created a visual showcase for their international exhibition stands. At the client's specific request, the editing was intentionally kept long and slow, allowing the video to run on a continuous loop throughout the day without being overly intrusive. Although the footage was originally produced without audio for the noisy trade fair floor, we have added a fitting track to this online version for an optimal viewing experience.
International Trade Fair Video for AD Megatec: A Visual Showcase of Schüco Quality
At Lowlite, we understand that the context of a video determines its form. For AD Megatec, the largest Belgian producer of Schüco PVC windows, doors, and sliding doors, we developed a unique visual showcase for their international exhibition stands. The challenge? To create a video that can run on repeat all day without becoming intrusive or exhausting for visitors on a busy trade fair floor.
By utilizing a deliberate, slow editing style and impressive drone footage, we mapped out the scale and quality of AD Megatec. While the video speaks purely visually on the trade fair floor, we have added a fitting soundtrack for this online presentation to complete the experience.
Our Approach
A strategic trade fair video in 4 phases:
- Phase 1: Strategic briefing and functional analysis (Expo context)
- Phase 2: Cinematographic capture of the Schüco range
- Phase 3: Editing for a "Non-Intrusive Loop"
- Phase 4: International branding and visual consistency
The process behind AD Megatec's international showcase
Phase 1: Strategic briefing and functional analysis
An international trade fair floor is a noisy and visually overstimulated environment. Together with AD Megatec, we determined the functional parameters for the video:
- The video must grab attention without forcing it aggressively.
- The focus is on the aesthetics and scale of the PVC sliding doors and windows.
- A "slow-burn" editing style was chosen, ideal for a continuous loop on large screens without distracting the booth staff.
Phase 2: Cinematographic capture
To do justice to the largest producer of Schüco in Belgium, we utilized high-end recording techniques:
- Drone footage: For impressive overview shots of production capacity and large-scale realizations.
- FPV drone footage: Fluid first-person shots that paint the full picture: impressive overviews of the factory halls, visually confirming their position as market leader.
- Use of natural light to optimally showcase the modern appearance of the windows and doors.
Phase 3: Editing for a "Non-Intrusive Loop"
At the specific request of the client, the editing was technically adapted for use at the stand:
- Images flow slowly into one another, giving a high-quality and calming appearance to the exhibition stand.
- There is no compelling rhythm, allowing the viewer to "step in" and look away at any time without feeling they have missed something.
- The video is seamlessly edited so the repeat mode remains invisible to passersby.
Phase 4: International branding and visual consistency
In the final phase, we ensured the video reinforces AD Megatec's position as a market leader on the international stage:
- The shots are chosen to speak universally, regardless of the language spoken by the visitor at the fair.
- The video functions as a visual showcase that links Schüco quality with Belgian production power.
- Although originally produced for the trade fair floor, this strong visual branding also ensures immediate online recognizability for the largest Belgian Schüco manufacturer.
